Meet the Panelists
Professor of Strategic Marketing at SSBM Geneva, CEO at MM2C Sàrl
Dr. Marko Majer is an accomplished marketing communications professional and business educator with over 30 years of international experience. He has been sitting proverbially on two chairs all his life: he founded and then managed one of the leading marketing communications agencies in Slovenia, working for blue-chip clients, such as MasterCard, Coca-Cola, Ford, Nestlé, etc. He is also a CEO at MM2C Sàrl.
The agency team under his leadership and himself personally have received over 80 international awards for their work. The challenges of leading a diverse and demanding creative team have encouraged him to research the young generation, Millennials, as talent in the European advertising industry for his doctorate, which was subsequently also published in a book. He currently teaches marketing-related courses, such as marketing strategy, branding, consumer research, and operational marketing with special attention to digital trends and responsible behavior at several high-profile Swiss business schools. In addition, he also helps and advises young entrepreneurs and acts as a supervisor for doctoral students worldwide.
On a more personal note, Marko is an avid traveler, fluent in 6 languages. He is a sports pilot and enjoys flying small aircraft around Europe, skiing, and spending time outdoors.

Alper Yuksel is an accomplished global senior executive with over 25 years of success delivering value as a strategist, business developer, marketer, transformation driver, and team leader and investor across more than 80 markets in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia with high levels of diversity and complexity. He has devised dozens of business turnarounds, scale-ups, digital transformations, international expansions, route to market, brand building, website launch, e-commerce and mobile solutions, and customer collaboration strategies, and ideas that have maximized growth and enhanced organizational performance. Alper has served as Group CEO; Board Member and Regional General Manager across the world and categories and held leadership positions for multinationals such as Procter&Gamble, Mars, and Goodyear.
He is the founder of AY Management Consultancies Sàrl with offices in Geneva and Dubai and is an investor in several tech start-ups in Switzerland. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of ZenOwn, an innovative visual imaging and AI-driven company in Switzerland. He has a passion for scaling up tech and AI-driven companies.

Elmira Gazizova has nearly a decade of experience in digital marketing, complemented by a background in business strategy and finance. Her career journey has been anything but linear, which has made it all the more rewarding. A self-proclaimed tech geek with a love for numbers and data, Elmira has successfully executed data-driven digital marketing campaigns and implemented impactful marketing automation strategies. What truly sets her apart is her passion for understanding customer needs and driving business results. For Elmira, success means making clients happy while helping companies and their teams thrive. Her core expertise includes media buying, content creation, marketing automation, organic search, and marketing operations.
In the past year, Elmira has embraced a new challenge in product marketing, focusing on network security, data, and AI – an exciting evolution that aligns perfectly with her passion for technology and innovation. She is currently working at keyIT as a Product Marketing Manager.
In addition, Elmira is passionate about sharing best practices for Generative AI and helping businesses integrate it into their workflows. With more than twenty years of varied experience in education, pharmaceuticals, CRM, IT, and education management, Dr. Meskina offers a rich background and a fresh viewpoint for this position. Her innovative educational strategies and dedication to high-quality teaching and learning make her an ideal person to lead the academic programs at SSBM Geneva. Dr. Olesya Meskina is a distinguished academic with broad expertise in pedagogy, social science, marketing, and leadership. She holds two doctoral degrees – one in Social Science and another in History and International Relations – with her latest doctorate awarded by the University of Basel in 2013. These remarkable academic achievements are further enhanced by her involvement in prestigious development programs in Switzerland and the United States, such as Global Perspectives and Women into Industry, which have refined her leadership and marketing abilities.
