The Immersion Program at the Swiss School of Business and Management Geneva has just concluded, and it’s safe to say it was an extraordinary experience for all participants! Over five action-packed days, attendees had the unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of business, entrepreneurship, corporate responsibility, financial management, and strategic marketing. With inspiring speakers and hands-on sessions, the program offered a wealth of knowledge that will surely propel participants forward in their careers and ventures.
Day 1: Legal Framework and Startup Innovation
The first day kicked off with a bang, featuring two transformative sessions.
Hulya Kurt brought her expertise to the table with an inspiring session on Entrepreneurship and Startup Strategy & Innovation in Startups. She shared powerful strategies on how to create, scale, and innovate within startups, leaving participants with actionable takeaways to launch their successful ventures. Hulya also led a Case Study in Entrepreneurship, diving into real-life examples of both triumphs and challenges in the startup world.
Day 2: Corporate Social Responsibility & Pitching Skills
Day two continued with even more incredible learning. Mary Mayenfisch-Tobin, LL.M. guided participants through Corporate Social Responsibility Strategies, illustrating how businesses can not only thrive but also make a meaningful impact on society. The session emphasized the importance of balancing profitability with social responsibility, leaving everyone motivated to lead businesses that prioritize sustainability and ethics.
Next, Hulya Kurt returned to teach Pitching Ideas & Presentation Skills, a session designed to help participants craft compelling presentations and deliver their ideas with confidence. The day also included a cultural highlight—a visit to Geneva’s renowned museums, where participants experienced the city’s rich history and culture, offering a refreshing break and new perspectives.
Day 3: Financial Strategy and Risk Management
On day three, we shifted our focus to the financial aspects of business. Dr. Victor Yerris led an eye-opening session on Financial Management, Strategy, and Risk Management. Participants learned essential strategies for navigating the complexities of business finance, managing risks, and ensuring long-term financial stability. Dr. Yerris’ workshop provided valuable tools to help businesses overcome financial challenges and make informed decisions for growth and sustainability.
Day 4: Strategic Marketing and Digital Branding
